I guess for me this course has given me space to view my projects in a new light, or at least see it from another perspective and that there is perhaps more potential within my ideas than i initially intend. In the past i have usually found it necessary to make sure that my concept is clear and easy to understand. i have perhaps not given my audience enough credit in terms of how they will firstly read the work and subsequently how they will develop their own thoughts through my ideas. i guess i never really considered that a conversation about the work could take it somewhere different and that itself could be more powerful than the work. In some ways i think subtlety or even being vague about large issues or subject matters can be more powerful if it leads people to think about your subject matter for themselves.

This makes me consider Laibach's work and the way they could be interpreted in many different ways depending who the audience is. Their use of dry humor through sarcasm and irony could either be taken seriously or misunderstood but if the group remains ambiguous to their actual intensions then the work has the potential to reach more people and generate more opinions. it i kind of nice to have multilayered meanings and potential to work purely through how the audience responds reacts and reads ones work.
