When seeing 'In the Balance' it was a little confronting for me, it was definitely a form of art and life. At first I found it hard to view from an artistic point of view because my passion for the environment is very strong. But after contemplating for a while I saw great positives in bringing the awareness of current environmental issues to the world through the means of art as oppose to media and politics.
I definitely enjoyed Diego's work at the exhibition and his concepts behind it are really inspiring too. Diego's devotion to the preservation of unwanted flora is what first caught my attention. He is obviously interested in bringing to mind what good weeds can do, despite their bad name.
